Cookie policy
We set no cookies at all and run no analytics. The site keeps a small number of items in your browser's local storage, listed here in full.
1The short version
Cubrevia does not use cookies, analytics, advertising, social media pixels or any third-party service that could follow you around the web. What we do use is local storage: small items kept by your browser on your device that only this site can read and that are never sent to us.
2Necessary items
These make the site work as you asked and are kept until you delete them:

cbv.points | Your points total. |
cbv.stats | Rounds played, level, badges and personal records. |
cbv.prefs | Nickname, reminder interval and calm mode. |
A temporary item, cbv.session, is kept in session storage while the tab is open to show the session card on game pages; it disappears when you close the tab.
3Optional items
Only if you choose Accept optional:

cbv.view | The last filters you used on the All games page. |
If you choose Reject optional, these items are never written and any existing ones are removed.
4Changing your choice
Use the Storage settings button at the bottom of every page to see the notice again and choose differently. Rejecting is as easy as accepting, and the site works the same either way.
5Deleting everything
The Delete my Cubrevia data button in your Locker removes every item above. You can also clear site data in your browser settings.
6Server side
Our server does not set cookies. The contact form uses a short signed token inside the form itself, not a cookie, to stop automated submissions.
7Third parties
Cubrevia loads no fonts, scripts, images or frames from other websites. Links to support organisations open their sites in a new tab; those sites have their own cookie policies.
